Shift: Monday - Friday | Rotating Roster: 6:00am - 2:00pm & 7:00am - 3:00pm

Pay Rate: $34.96

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Storeperson with forklift operating skills to join our warehouse team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient handling, loading, and unloading of goods with minimal manual handling involved. This role focuses on safe and effective forklift operations to support warehouse activities and ensure smooth logistics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move, load, and unload stock and materials within the warehouse.
  
• Receive, inspect, and organize incoming goods and materials.
  
• Load and unload trucks promptly and accurately to meet operational schedules.
  
• Maintain accurate stock records and assist with inventory control.
  
• Ensure goods are stored correctly and safely in designated areas.
  
• Reduce manual handling by utilizing forklift equipment and other mechanical aids.
  
• Conduct daily forklift checks and report any maintenance or safety issues.
  
• Assist with general warehouse duties as required to support smooth operations.
  
• Adhere to health and safety policies and procedures at all times.
  
  Requirements:
  
• Proven experience as a Storeperson or Warehouse Operator with forklift license/certification.
  
• Competent in operating forklifts, including reach trucks and counterbalance forklifts.
  
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, loading/unloading procedures.
  
• Ability to work efficiently with minimal manual handling by utilizing forklift operations.
  
• Good physical condition and ability to perform repetitive tasks.
  
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
  
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  
• Basic computer skills for inventory management systems (preferred).
